My Favorite Pre-Dance Snack

Going to dance (or any workout) on an empty stomach? This is my favorite thing to whip up quickly and take in the car: a peanut-butter banana smoothie!

Ingredients:

  • 1 peeled banana
  • I cup of ice
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • One large spoonful of peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • optional: one scoop of vanilla or chocolate protein powder

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a blender and combine until smooth.

This smoothie is super easy and SUPER DELICIOUS! It has so much protein that will rev you up before dance, but it is still light enough to the point where it doesn’t give you that weird stomach ache while working out (I think you all know what I mean).
